Abbey of the Roses

On the Wednesday we got to share a wonderful experience together in Warwick ... and to celebrate Cheryl's special '0' birthday.
We had a lovely day at the beautifully restored Abbey of the Roses that was built in 1891.
We also had a high tea in the dining room.
It was pretty swish!
The dining room was full of antiques and memorabilia from the era. There were also lots of pieces found during the restoration work of the Abbey.
The food was delicious!
Even Helen was happy with her gluten free version!
After our lunch we took a tour of the Abbey which I would definitely recommend if you go there! The history of the place is so interesting and the tour was wonderful.
Beautiful pieces and photo opportunities everywhere you looked.
The Chapel was beautiful.
De adding a row to the knitting in the lounge room.

It was just beautiful, inside and outside. Such a great day and so glad we finally got to visit the Abbey, as I have been wanting to do this for years.
