Rainy Day Stitching

The weather forecasts have been predicting rain today, and lots of it.  It has been the perfect day for some stitching...
Playing catchup with the Splendid Sampler sew along.
"The Constant Needle"
"Blossoming" designed by the lovely Jenny of Elephantz.
Just loving the variety of the blocks.
We have received lots of rain today and our tank is full. It was certainly needed. To top off a wet weather day we were looking for comfort food ....
Home made spicy chicken pasta bake and olive sourdough. Yummo.
Hope you're staying safe and dry in this weather.

Your blocks are so lovely. I did Jenny's block in redwork, to match my other embroidery blocks, and will also catch up today. The east-coast low is right overhead in Sydney this morning with gale force winds and heavy rain. Great day for sewing as long as the power doesn't go out.

Your sampler blocks are coming along so well.
And it looks like you have had more than your average rainfall this weekend!

Beautiful sampler blocks you have made. Good to hear your tank is full, hope there wasn't any other rain damage at yours. Yay for comfort food!!
