Salamanca Markets and our "Free Day"

Saturday is the day we are free to do what we want and explore....it also happens to be the day the Salamanca Markets are on.
Narelle and I went exploring with Cheryll and Shez ..... We had the best day!!!!
Tall ships at the pier, blueberry crepes, handmade birdhouses and Tasmanian apples and pears at the Salamanca Markets.
I really wish I'd bought these knitting needles now!!!! (Photo thanks to Shez!)
Beautiful buildings, the most loveliest store, Chez Moi, Shez shopping and the beautiful tulips at the markets.
Chez Moi was an amazing shop .... Lots of beautiful fabrics - Tilda and French linens, Easter goodies, soaps and perfumes, jewellery, and EVERYTHING French!!! I was in heaven!
Some of the goodies I found today. Old tins, Tilda fabric and notebooks, French linen, gorgeous necklace, French soap and lavender sachet, Eiffel Tower cookie cutter (thank you Narelle!!!!) and a beautiful wool poncho from the markets.
After the markets, shopping at a couple more fabric shops, a lovely lunch, and walking all over Hobart we meandered back "home" via the waterfront.
Dinner was Chinese on the Pier. It was delicious and the company was wonderful.
We even managed dessert after a lovely evening walk back to Salamanca Square. At the Honey Badger Rell and I had banoffee sundae and pancakes. Soooooo good!
Another fabulous day!!!!
So excited for our stitching day tomorrow!!!

It looks like a marvelous trip.
Thanks for taking the time out to share it with us.
Traveling on the internet, seems to be the only time I ever get to travel.
Have fun!
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
