First things first, we go downstairs for breakfast.
The room is beautiful and set up so lovely.
Then we were off towards Georgetown to see Sarah and her shop. On the way we stopped at Low Head where they have these amazing carvings in the trees.
They were so interesting and all done with a chainsaw!
We had a really lovely coffee and cake in a gorgeous house at the Pilots station at Low Head.
We made it to Sarah's shop Patchworks Plus and it is such a wonderful shop. Spoilt with a gorgeous welcome cake
And a lovely surprise gift from Sarah.
On the road again to have lunch with most of the Friends in Stitching girls at the Cherry Shed.
Almost all of us in this photo!
The food here was excellent. I can see why the girls come here!
On our way to the camp at Port Sorrel we stopped in Latrobe to see a shop called "Reliquaire" that my mum had told me about. This shop sells everything! Antiques, dolls, teddies, masks, jewellery, bags, books, games, puppets, statues, science stuff - you name it! It was VERY interesting!
We finally arrived at the camp/retreat in Port Sorrel and I even started on some stitching. This weekend I plan to work on my blocks from last weekends workshop.
We are all straight into sewing. That's Jo photobombing my pic! So good to meet these ladies after being blogging friends for so long.
