Warwick Part 2

Tuesday in Warwick was a lovely day. First Sandi and I went in search of the Abbey of the Roses (which we found and it's beautiful!) and we also went to the information centre and got lots of info for future visits to Warwick.
It was also the gorgeous Cheryl's birthday and we all went out for a delicious lunch to celebrate.
And a little bit of retail therapy!
We can't go to Warwick without visiting Bryson's, Canning Town and Sew we Create. I bought a gorgeous teacup and eggcup.
We all were spoilt with gifts from Cheryl!!! Her clever hubby made these sweet little thread holders. They have a magnet for a needle rest as well. They are perfectly made and I'm using mine already. How lucky are we?
Then it was straight back into the sewing. I have a "To Do" list for this trip and I am slowly ticking everything off. My Farm Girl  Vintage Tablerunner is ready for hand stitching the binding on after quilting it today.
Maree is on a roll .... So many pieces.
Alison and her runner with so many intricate pieces.
Lynda and her gorgeous quilt.
Marilyn and her cute as quilt, in the early stages working out placement of blocks.
And Cheryl's fresh and bright quilt.
Next post I have photos of their progress. This was a very productive retreat.
We are always spoilt with nibblies, wine and fat quarters from Glenrose Patchwork. This is a fabulous place for a retreat!
Much later in the night ......
Maree's quilt is looking decidedly different to earlier in the day.
The night owls ..... It's so lovely to have friends who enjoy staying up all night long sewing like I do!!!!
