Sewing and Strawberries...A Recipe for You....

A little bit of sewing this weekend - lots of fun, playing with vintage laces, ribbons ️and buttons.
One vintage pincushion! But I've already started on another......
I've also been playing in the kitchen. When I saw the recipe for these chocolate and strawberry layered cheesecakes, made in the mason jars, I really wanted to try this!
If you'd like to make this you will need...

Chocolate and Strawberry Layered Cheesecakes.
140g Oreo biscuits, roughly chopped
500g Philly cheese, softened
1/3 cup castor sugar
1 tspn vanilla
125g baking chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
1 cup cream, softly whipped
250g strawberries, raspberries or mixed berries

1. Place chopped Oreos in the base of the jars and press slightly.
2. Beat Philly cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer until smooth. Divide mixture in two and stir the chocolate through one half. Divide the cream and fold half into each mixture.
3. Spoon the chocolate mixture into the jars. Stir half the strawberries through the remaining Philly cheese mixture and spoon into the jars. Chill.
4. Top the cheesecakes with the rest of the strawberries and dust with icing sugar.
ENJOY!!!
Well that's dessert sorted for tonight. Better make something else more substantial for the boys....
Enjoy the last bit of your weekend!
