A start.....

Stitching with the Tuesday girls today and we made a start on our wreaths. We hope to encourage each other to make this wreath before next Christmas - that means each week working on all the beaded and embroidered decorations as well as all the holly leaves and the wreath itself. Who's idea was this???? (Helen!!!)
After much discussion about the instructions and the pattern we did make a start and I can now see that this is no simple, quick to make project. Lunch was a much better option.
Well we laughed most of the time and we were totally confused the rest of the time but I can happily say that we did persevere. In fact by the end of the day we were quite pleased with ourselves and the first decoration has been conquered.
We may even enjoy this....
Next week is a snowman.....
Hope you've had a great day too!

Your Santa is adorable! THe entire wreath will be gorgeous, but I would definitely need a group of sewing friends to keep me on task for this one. Have fun with it!

He's gorgeous Teresa!! Can I ask what wreath you're talking about? I don't think I've ever seen anything like what you've described, but it sure sounds interesting!!! I look forward to seeing it grow over the coming year!!!
