Catch Up with Blogging Friends

Marina is one of my lovely blogging friends that I only get to see once in awhile when I visit Melbourne. It was wonderful to hear she was coming to Brisbane for a holiday.
Fiona, Me, Marina and Michelle... thanks for the photo Fiona!
We got to catch up today for lunch (a lovely long 5 hour lunch!!!). Fiona and Michelle came too which made for a fantastic day. Lots of talking, laughing and more talking.
We had lunch at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs Cafe and it was lovely.
Great view of the city and great food. The weather behaved itself too.
Brisbane is pretty nice this time of the year - not too hot yet and all the jacaranda trees are stunning.
Thanks for the lovely day today Marina, Fiona and Michelle. Soooooo good to see you in Brisbane Marina!!!

On the way home from Brisbane, and with 30 minutes to go before closing, I ducked into Woolloongabba Antiques. Which was a great decision as I picked up a couple of lovely bargains.
A sweet little depression glass bowl, the tiniest glass jelly mould I've ever come across (both to add to my collections!) and some giant freckle chocolates for the boys.
Score!!!

Hello Teresa,

5 hours, it is a wonder the staff didn't invite you for tea! Great to catch up with blogging friends, the photo is lovely of you all.
Your Jacaranda's look so lovely in bloom, that is my favourite tree. They don't bloom here until November.

Happy days.
Bev.
