Another Birthday Party!

Yesterday there was reason to celebrate again with the Tuesday girls. This time it was Laurels birthday.
I got to bring the birthday cake and boy did I have fun making this very unhealthy (but delicious!) chocolate overload.
Discovering the Maltesers made it impossible to put candles on the cake - I made a tiny little bunting to put across the top instead.
The food was sooo good. Zucchini slice, toblerone cheesecake, cheese and biscuits, malteser chocolate cake and many cups of tea.
It was a lovely day....
There was stitching too!
We are each making Natalie Birds cute new pattern "mouse pincushion" so we made a start on the embroidered section. Another great day with the girls and now I've got some homework to do as well.
Have a great day.
Teresa xx

Yummy Teresa. How about whipping over here and making me a birthday cake when you get a moment. Looks yummy, where did you find the recipe. Loving your new stitchery of Natalie Birds.

Such a yummy feast. Went to start the pincushion today but my oh so adorable GS had other ideas so no sewing or anything for me. Hugs, xx.
