52 Week Scrap Challenge

I have finished this weeks and last weeks projects in Samelia's Mums 52 Week Scrap Challenge.  I couldn't wait to make them!
Last weeks was a very sweet little needle case. I have actually had this little needle case tutorial in my list "Tutorials I want to try" on my side bar (for some time now I have to admit!!). The original tutorial is on the wonderful blog nanaCompany,  Lucky for me Anorina has used it as the start for our scrap challenge. Ticked two things off with this finish!

I've used a small piece of the new ribbons I just bought, (earlier post), but the rest is entirely made from pieces I had in my scrap basket. As you can see.... I have also delved into my shell button collection and used some!!!! Yes I did!!!!
Inside there are two pieces of felt, giving me heaps of room for needles and pins. I've also decorated the inside with some old lace, ribbon and more shell buttons.
This weeks project is a Rice Therapy Eye Pillow. Something I am always reaching for when I have a headache... although the one I have is filled with wheat... it will be good to see how this one works with the rice.
The outer is a sweet little pillow case and can be removed and washed.
I am thrilled with my little finishes and love the colours and rose fabric pieces I was able to use up.
Thanks Anorina for two more wonderful projects.
Teresa xx
