On Your Mark, Get Set........

GO!

Its the Jelly Roll race!
I read about it on Pegs and Chookys blog and saw the video on Tracee's blog.
I just had to try it too!
It was so much fun... but I really don't know how the woman in the video finished it in 35 minutes... It took me that long just to sew the strips together.

After that, the quilt took me just over an hour and a half to put together... not bad!
All it needs now is a border! I just love this Pure fabric range and have had my jelly roll for ages just waiting for something to inspire me to put it together.
Race is over, and I certainly didn't win....
What about you....
Want to race too????
Teresa xx

Perfect use of that fabric range. Sounds quick even if it does take a couple of hours to get this far.
Enjoy

I have watched that video too. It sure looks easy :)
Your quilt top looks great. Much better as a quilt than a tidy little roll. Wonderful job.

Love the Pure range - a real winner. This looks like an interesting project to try - dont think I could achieve it in such a short time though.
