Finally a Finish for August....

This is my version of the Skinny Verna pattern I found over at Moda Bake Shop (you will find the pattern here)
Last year we travelled to Ulluru (Ayres Rock) and I found this wonderful little Patchwork shop in Alice Springs that specialised in Aboriginal fabrics. I have finally used some of them in these 3 table runners.

I still can't decide on whether I like the black border or the white......
But I just love the fabrics!

Last months Bunny Hills BOM "Snowbound" has been finished.
Last night we were lucky enough to see David Helfgott play at one of our local schools. The concert was to raise funds for the school to purchase their own grand piano. It was a fantastic night and he was BRILLIANT! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful, productive weekend!
Teresa xx

I love your aboriginal print version. Personaly, I like the black border with it. I love the aboriginal prints, but have decided I need to buy them in the Territory, so will have to wait for a while.

hmmmmmmm I have some aboriginal fabrics I was wondering what to do with:) I just bought them cause I liked them .....we've been on the same site today. I'm making a little blankie for Danae from a table runner pattern on Moda's site that I'm adapting. Just taking a quick break for tea and back into it. The girls have been ironing the blocks for me all afternoon ;) Love your runners :D

Loving the look of those aboriginal fabrics Teresa. Dang, I didn't find the patchwork shop in Alice. Then again, had hubby and family in tow and there wasn't much interest in shopping!

Lovely work Teresa (as always from you)I like the black borders...nice depth to the piece. Have any of the fabric scraps worked their way into some "personal gifts" for your Early Bird Christmas Box?
