What Makes Me Happy Week No. 27

This week what's making me happy is these beautiful roses....
My husband surprised me with this gorgeous bunch of roses.
The perfume is divine and they have lasted so well, especially considering one of my cats loves to eat them!!!! Every morning we find the roses out of the water, across the table, with a few petals missing. Is this normal cat behaviour???
Not my birthday, not my anniversary... Just "because".
Makes them so special and so beautiful.
Thank You!!

We are on school holidays and so I am finding it very difficult to get my son off the computer, and me on it!! It's taking me a while to catch up on everyone's blogs, but I will get there.
Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday!
Teresa xx

Our male cat Pugsly loves eating flowers too! Our female isn't interested in them at all though. Is your cat male or female? Might be a male thing ;) I have no idea why he does it. I have to hide my flowers when hes inside...he doesn't care what he knocks down to get to them.

How wonderful! Flowers..."just because!". Now that IS special! Not sure about normal with cats, but mine are also sure to nibble flowers and knock over vases! I've only about one small shelf out of reach that is safe.

Awww Teresa, what a sweety he is ... definitely a keeper ;o)!!! Hmmm, not sure about the rose-eating kitty though ... don't think that's the normal diet for our feline friends. Then again, I guess it's a matter of taste lol ;o).
Enjoy the rest of the hols ;o)!!
Hugs,
Joy ;o)

"Just because" is always so "just perfect".....your hubby is such a sweety!!!
I can relate to the son on the computer.....although I have my own laptop, the download speeds are soooooo sloooooowwwwww now!!!
My pussycato eats my hair...is that the same??? He crawls up on the couch behind me and pulls at my hair....maybe I don't do it well enough and he needs to groom me!!!...maybe your puss doesn't like the arrangement!? LOL
sugary hugs

What fabulous colours in your roses! Just beautiful. Not sure about normal cats. I don't have one! Mine chews the petals off any flowers I have in my vase on the coffee table and spits them on the floor. He will also sit on the back of my chair and chew my hair. That makes me extremely nervous! He can be a vicious piece of work!
