Autumn!

It's finally starting to feel like Autumn. The nights are getting cooler and the days are glorious. It's great sewing weather! I love Autumn and to celebrate I made this cute little wall hanging.
It has applique, patching and a bit of embroidery.

The pattern is one of many from the book "Pumpkins and Spice" by Terri Degenkollo. My favourite quilt shop has all the fabrics and more books, so I am hoping to make some more of the gorgeous patterns.
I just love the fabrics!

My February Valentines quilt has been replaced by the new Autumn inspired wallhanging!
This weeks pinwheel blocks were a personal choice. I've gone with the double pinwheel block. Next week we start putting the quilt together!
I can't wait to see it ready for quilting!
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
Teresa xx

I really love your pinwheels. Autumn is my favorite time of year. We are having spring and the trees are blossoming and so pretty.

By the way, I have been stitching klosjes (bow tie blocks) and use the little button tin box you gave me for Christmas. It is just perfect for toting them around in my purse so I can use spare moments to stitch them. Thanks again.

Hi Teresa, well I love your wall hanging, the expression on the cats face is cute. Looks like you've been real busy with your projects, and yes Autumn has a charm about it. I just walked my husband outside as he is off to work......brrrrr...it was cold. Kind regards, Anita.
